Teleradiology services provider Rapid Radiology has selected information management company OpenText for its electronic medical records (EMR) software solution.
The OpenText EMR-Link software is designed to integrate patient medical records and facilitate workflows between labs, healthcare facilities, and imaging centers. It works with the OpenText Business Network for cloud services to enable remote work.
Members of the Rapid Radiology group can use the software to deliver radiology results directly to electronic patient charts at healthcare facilities, including senior and long-term care facilities. Users will also be able to place electronic orders, improving the turnaround time for patient care.
