Cloud-based software developer Ambra Health is partnering with Invenio Imaging, a developer of rapid intraoperative tissue imaging technology based on stimulated Raman histology (SRH).
Ambra's cloud PACS will be integrated with Invenio's Nio laser imaging system, which will enable pathologists to instantly view SRH images exported from Invenio's device. The collaboration also allows hospitals to generate and read high-resolution microscopic images of tissue with an eye toward social distancing by eliminating the face-to-face interactions that occur in the conventional histologic workflow, according to the firms.
