Enterprise imaging firm Visage Imaging said that NYU Langone Health has inked an agreement to install its Visage 7 platform and collaborate on enterprise imaging and artificial intelligence (AI) research.
A centralized Visage 7 enterprise imaging platform will replace all legacy PACS at the four hospitals of NYU Langone Health, encompassing all radiology and subspecialty imaging departments, including breast imaging, Visage said. The first sites are scheduled to go live in the first quarter of 2021.
In addition, Visage and NYU have agreed to a multiyear research agreement to design and develop enterprise imaging products in areas such as workflow optimization, integration with multivendor reporting platforms, and integration of AI, according to the vendor. What's more, NYU Langone has signed on as a member of Visage AI Accelerator program.
Visage also announced that it would establish its own R&D hub in New York City to spearhead research and commercialization opportunities in the U.S.
