Enterprise imaging vendor Visage Imaging has received a large order from nonprofit healthcare organization Allina Health for its Visage 7 enterprise imaging platform and Visage 7 Workflow module.
Under the seven-year agreement, the cloud-based implementation will replace legacy PACS and provide a unified diagnostic imaging platform for the Minneapolis, MN-based healthcare system. Allina has 28,000 employees and 6,000 associated and employed physicians and operates 11 hospitals and more than 90 clinics throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin, according to Visage parent company Pro Medicus.
The deal is valued at $20.2 million and features a transaction-based license model. Initial go-lives are expected for the second half of 2022. The deal is the fifth major contract received by Visage in the North American integrated delivery network market over the past 18 months, according to the vendor.
