Enterprise imaging firm Visage Imaging and Munich-based Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU) Klinikum have signed an agreement to install the firm's Visage 7 technology across all of LMU Klinikum's radiology departments.
LMU is the largest medical training institution in southern Germany and the move replaces existing legacy PACS with a single, centralized instance of the Visage 7 enterprise imaging platform. The software can also be used in the operating theater suite for HD operating room video documentation and point-of-care ultrasound archival and viewing, Visage added.
The implementation is scheduled to begin in December.
