eHealth Technologies recently named Dan Torrens as the company's new CEO, succeeding Jeff Markin, who will remain in an advisory role with the company.
Torrens has 25 years of leadership experience, most recently as the chief operating officer for ConnectiveRx in Pittsburgh. He also previously served as chief operating officer of CMMI Institute, a subsidiary of Carnegie Mellon University's Software Engineering Institute.
eHealth also hit a milestone recently, with the company saying it now assists over 100 of the nation's top hospitals. Of these hospitals, 17 are in the top 20 of U.S. News & World Report's best hospital rankings.
