Data-Ray debuts 3-megapixel flat-panel display

Monitor manufacturer Data-Ray has released ME311, a digital 20.8-inch diagonal, 3-megapixel LCD flat-panel display. ME311 is driven by a specially designed digital graphic controller, according to the Westminster, CO-based firm.

The monochrome display offers a 10-bit gray scale (1,021 shades of gray) with a viewing angle of 170º. Peak luminance is 175 foot-Lamberts (600 cd/m2), and the contrast ratio is 600:1, according to the company. Data-Ray's monitor calibration software is included with ME311 at no additional cost.
