Image Systems debuts AMLCD display

Display manufacturer Image Systems has introduced FP1700HBMAX, a new AMLCD high-brightness monitor. The 17-inch FP1700HBMAX display provides a wide 160º viewing angle in both vertical and horizontal planes, with very low reflectance, according to the Minnetonka, MN-based firm.

It supports 16 million colors and is available in either a commercial or medical configuration. The display operates between VGA and 1280 x 1024 resolution with an optional NTSC/PAL interface, according to the firm. An analog connection allows for the replacement of existing displays, including legacy systems. FP1700HBMAX has a list price of $3,995.
