Del Global Technologies will close its DynaRad facility in Deer Park, NY, in September as part of a plan to streamline its operations and conserve cash. Certain DynaRad product lines will be transferred to other Del facilities on Long Island, NY, and in Franklin Park, IL.
The Valhalla, NY-based vendor estimates that the move will rack up about $400,000 in severance and lease costs, as well as approximately $1.3 million for the write-down of certain long-term assets. The facility employs 70 people.
