ART secures $7.5 million investment

Laser and thermal imaging developer Advanced Research Technologies will soon receive a $7.5 million investment by mutual funds company OppenheimerFunds as the result of a private placement offering. Saint-Laurent, Canada-based ART expects the private placement of common shares to close on or about June 18, subject to all applicable regulatory approvals. ART will use the proceeds as part of its working capital.
