GE Medical Systems has signed a five-year sole-source agreement with the purchasing organization Joint Purchasing Corporation. The deal covers a broad range of GE products and services, including the firm's CompreCare equipment service management and delivery program, and its IntelliMotion asset tracking and reporting service.
JPC signed an additional five-year deal with GE Medical Systems Healthcare Services' Gold Seal division, which will provide JPC members with free diagnostic imaging asset evaluation services. JPC members will also have the option of selling either GE or non-GE equipment to Gold Seal for refurbishment and deployment to other healthcare institutions, according to Waukesha, WI-based GE.
