Toshiba lands military supply deal

Toshiba America Medical Systems has received a contract from the Defense Logistics Agency Support Center Philadelphia (DSCP). Under the terms of the deal, the Tustin, CA-based vendor will be able to supply its complete diagnostic imaging product line to U.S. military hospitals, clinics, and other federal agencies worldwide.

The one-year contract may be extended up to five years. Toshiba estimates that annual purchases will total $25 million.
