Three-dimensional-software developer Voxar is demonstrating version 3.2 of its Plug n View 3D at this week's Symposium for Computer Applications in Radiology. Voxar has added a number of enhancements in the latest release, including intelligent active presents, which automatically selects color and opacity for 3-D volume display, according to the Edinburgh, Scotland-based firm.
Point-and-click segmentation has also been added, along with measurement tools and volume measurement functionality. And Voxar said it has incorporated the ability to generate a series of CT/MR images in any orientation while retaining DICOM header information.
