Digital radiography developer Schick Technologies reported improved financial results for its 2002 fiscal year (end-March 31). For the year, the Long Island City, NY, company reported revenues of $24.4 million, up 15% compared with the $21.3 million in sales generated in fiscal 2001.The company posted net income for the year of $3.1 million, compared with a net loss for 2001 of $1.6 million.
Schick said it achieved gross margins of 63.8% and operating margins of 16% during the year. The company also reduced its debt load by $3 million and strengthened its management team, executives said.
