Cardinal Health adds calibration tool

Cardinal Health is offering the Sr-90 Radioactive Check Device to check the calibration of various types of ionization chambers, according to the Cleveland-based firm.

The model 30-657 device contains a 33.3 MBq Sr-90 source and is equipped with an attached thermometer. Its intended use is with cylindrical or thimble type ionization chambers, the company said. A second version, model 30-658, containing 20 MBq Sr-90, is also available and intended for use with parallel-plane type ionization chambers.
