Film digitizer vendor Vidar Systems has released its Advantage film digitizer platform. Advantage, which evolved from Vidar's plus line of digitizers, features the firm's high-definition CCD technology and automatic digitizer calibration (ADC) technique, according to the Herndon, VA-based vendor.
Vidar initially introduced Advantage at the 2003 RSNA meeting in Chicago, and subsequently showcased it at last month's annual meeting of the Society for Computer Applications in Radiology in Vancouver.
