The Ville-Marie Medical and Women's Health Center in Montreal will evaluate ART Advanced Research Technologies' SoftScan optical breast imaging system.
The facility will review SoftScan under the terms of the Montreal company's SoftScan prepurchase and evaluation program, and will introduce the system after an evaluation period.
SoftScan is designed as a complementary diagnostic mammography tool and uses optical imaging technology to better locate and characterize breast tumors as benign or malignant, according to the company.
