Group purchasing organization Premier Purchasing Partners of Charlotte, NC, has doled out new agreements for diagnostic imaging products and point-of-sale service contracts.
Effective October 1 for acute and continuum of care members of Premier's healthcare alliance, the contracts included:
- Bone densitometry -- GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.
- Cardiovascular imaging -- GE; Philips Medical Systems of Andover, MA; and Toshiba America Medical Systems of Tustin, CA
- CT -- GE, Philips, and Toshiba
- General radiography -- Fujifilm Medical Systems USA of Stamford, CT; GE; Philips; Quantum Medical Imaging of Ronkonkoma, NY; Swissray International of East Brunswick, NJ; and Toshiba
- MR -- GE and Philips
- Mammography -- GE
- Molecular imaging (nuclear medicine and PET/CT) -- GE and Philips
- Ultrasound -- GE, Philips, and Toshiba
