MDS Nordion of Kanata, Ontario, has appointed Dr. Peter Covitz to the newly created position of senior vice president, innovation.
Covitz joins the company after serving as COO at the National Cancer Institute's (NCI) Center for Biomedical Informatics and Information Technology in Bethesda, MD.
Covitz will lead the company's global effort to develop and implement new technology strategies and identify new complimentary business opportunities.
