Impedance cardiography (ICG) developer CardioDynamics of San Diego posted revenue increases for its fourth quarter 2008 (end-November 30).
For the quarter, net sales increased 6%, from $6.1 million in 2007 to $6.5 million. The company attributed the growth to an increase in fourth-quarter ICG device sales, particularly sales to GE Healthcare of 72 ICG modules and to Mindray Medical of 80 ICG modules.
The company's net loss shrank by 48%, from $1.1 million in the third quarter of 2007 to $567,000 in the most recent period, according to CardioDynamics.
The company's net sales for the twelve months ended November 30 were $24.5 million, up 11% from $21.8 million in 2007. Net loss for the year was $3.2 million, down 80% compared to $16.7 million in 2007.
