Illinois publisher buys Imaging Technology News

Radiology trade magazine Imaging Technology News has been purchased by a Chicago-area trade publisher.

Scranton Gillette Communications of Arlington Heights, IL, has purchased both Imaging Technology News and its sister publication, Diagnostic & Invasive Cardiology, from longtime owner Reilly Communications Group of Schaumburg, IL. Imaging Technology News has a circulation of 35,000, and Diagnostic & Invasive Cardiology has a circulation of 28,000.

Scranton Gillette publishes business-to-business titles in a variety of industries, including water treatment, transportation, residential lighting, and lawn and garden. The company has been eyeing healthcare as a market of interest for some time, according to president and CEO Ed Gillette.
