HealthHelp names new CMO

Radiology benefits management firm HealthHelp announced that Dr. Anthony DeFrance has been appointed as chief medical officer (CMO).

DeFrance joined HealthHelp as its director of cardiology in 2009 and, most recently, has been its director of clinical operational efficiency. He designed all of the company's cardiology rule sets and ran its cardiology peer-to-peer program, HealthHelp said.

DeFrance is a clinical associate professor at Stanford University School of Medicine. He also runs Digimedica, which offers live, online, and blended education programs and training for medical professionals, medical industry companies, and health benefits management companies.
