Breast density software developer Matakina International has installed its Volpara breast density measurement software at Jacobi Medical Center and North Central Bronx Hospital in New York City.
The installation at the two facilities that comprise the North Bronx Healthcare Network will provide objective breast density measurements for approximately 12,000 annual mammograms on four mammography systems from Hologic, Matakina said.
In other Volpara news, the company showcased a new version of the Volpara software at this week's Society of Breast Imaging annual postgraduate course in Los Angeles. The new release is faster and more robust with an easy-to-use intuitive interface, according to the vendor.
