Radiation calibration and quality assurance firm Standard Imaging said that its annual Battling Cancer Golf Classic in Madison, WI, raised $25,000 for cancer research.
The event raised $17,000 for the American Cancer Society and UW Carbone Cancer Center, and Standard Imaging said it contributed an extra $8,000 donation. Standard Imaging's owners, employees, and partners have raised more than $250,000 for cancer research over the years through the annual golf event, according to the company.
