Disposable products developer Merit Medical Systems posted revenue and net income increases for its first quarter of 2017 (end-March 31).
The company's sales were $171.1 million for the quarter, an increase of 24% over $138.1 million for the same period in 2016. Its net income was $14.8 million, compared with $4.4 million for the same period last year.
The company estimated that its 2017 revenues will be in the range of $713 million to $723 million, an increase of approximately 18% to 20% over revenues of $603.8 million for 2016.
