GE Healthcare has promoted Tom McGuinness to the position of president and CEO of its Imaging business. He was previously chief strategy and commercial officer.
McGuinness joined GE in 2016 after serving as CEO of PatientPoint, a privately held healthcare technology firm focused on point-of-care physician and patient engagement. He also served stints as an executive at Medtronic and at consulting firm McKinsey & Company.
In his new role, McGuinness will oversee the Imaging division, which has annual revenue of $9 billion and includes GE's operations in MRI, CT, PET, nuclear medicine, women's imaging, interventional radiology, surgery, imaging analytics, and software.
