Philips Healthcare has inked a five-year strategic partnership arrangement to provide imaging equipment to Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, SC.
The deal, which is valued at $16 million, will support the expansion of the community hospital, help to standardize its imaging platforms, and better integrate workflows and information, according to the vendor. The center will receive new Philips imaging technology, such as its Ingenia Ambition X MRI system and Azurion image-guided therapy platform, the company said.
The institution is using a finance plan from Philips Medical Capital to pay for the deal.
