A former SimonMed Imaging employee is criticizing the company's billing practices, according to a report posted October 25 on abc15 Arizona.
The company charged patients unnecessarily for imaging services, and patients have had to wait months for refunds, former employee Rhonda Hannah said in the outlet's report. Abc15 Arizona initially reported on the problem in August.
SimonMed is an outpatient radiology group with more than 60 locations in Arizona, according to abc15.
