Several dozen protestors demonstrated outside the Waukesha, WI, office of GE Healthcare over the company's requirement that its employees be vaccinated against COVID-19, according to news reports.

About 50 people protested outside the Waukesha facility on October 26, according to a story in the Waukesha Freeman. The story said the protest included members of a local union representing workers at the facility, as well as people from around Waukesha County.

The article noted that GE Healthcare's stance on COVID-19 comes as the company and other firms move to comply with rules from the Biden administration that all federal contractors and their subcontractors require their employees to be vaccinated.

The protestors said they were opposed to tying jobs at the facility to mandatory vaccinations, with some stating that they believed vaccine mandates were unconstitutional. The protestors included one candidate for Wisconsin's gubernatorial race in 2022.
