GE HealthCare reported an increase in revenue for the third quarter of 2023, citing progress on productivity and pricing and improved inventory management.
For the period (end-September 30), GE HealthCare had revenues of $4.8 billion, up 5% over last year. Net income was $375 million, an increase of 7.8% over $487 million for the same period last year.
The company’s imaging segment had revenues of $2.6 billion, an increase of 5% over the same period last year. This growth was driven by gains in Molecular Imaging, CT, and MRI, due to supply chain improvements, pricing, and new product introductions, the company said.
GE HealthCare's ultrasound segment saw revenues of $815 million, a 1% decline following double-digit growth in the prior period.
