Fujifilm Medical Systems USA has signed a two-year contract with group purchasing organization Consorta Catholic Resource Partners. Effective April 1, the agreement authorizes Fuji to provide computed radiography equipment to Consorta's 320 acute-care facilities and 800 alternate-care sites. The Stamford, CT-based vendor will also offer an exclusive promotion on CR units for the next six months.
The agreement covers a wide range of Fuji CR systems, including the high-throughput FCR 5000 reader for mid- to high-volume facilities, as well as the vendor's new SmartCR technology. The deal also includes Fuji's imaging plates, heavy-duty cassettes, high-efficiency workstations, and related accessories.
