In an effort to expand its product line to support the imaging center market, Elmsford, NY-based FR Images is launching a new film line called LaserX.
LaserX is intended for use in the medical/wet laser imaging market, and includes a helium neon medical x-ray film, as well as an infrared laser film. Both are medium-contrast, fine-grain, high-resolution film, and are intended for use in CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, CR, and digitized film images, according to the firm.
