Fujifilm Medical Systems USA has signed a five-year agreement to provide its conventional x-ray and digital imaging film along with medical imagers to group purchasing organization Consorta. Effective October 1, the deal has an optional two-year extension.
The Stamford, CT-based vendor said the contract has the potential to exceed $45 million annually. The new agreement complements an April 2001 two-year contract with Consorta covering Fujifilm's computed radiography product line.
