Lexmark has also introduced its MarkNet N7000 series of external print servers, which include a LCD operator panel to allow customers to change settings on the device itself. They also feature IPSec support, Lexmark said.
In other product news, Lexmark has unveiled its Embedded Document Account Solution (eDAS), designed to help customers cut printing costs. It provides data on print, copy, fax, and scan usage at each device, Lexmark said.
