Fore Support Services has launched its AuthPal automated prior authorization technology for imaging centers during the Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) Radiology Summit in Las Vegas.
AuthPal cuts the time it takes to process a radiology prior authorization from days to hours or minutes, the company said. The technology uses a HIPAA-compliant secure cloud platform with SSL and AES 256-bit encryption to protect private health information. AuthPal automatically checks if prior authorization is required and obtains the latest status along with other details, the firm added.
