Radiology accessories manufacturer Techno-Aide has expanded its product line with two new positioning sponges.
Positioning blocks currently in use by radiologic technologists can leave sponge lines and ghosting artifacts on x-ray images. But Techno-Aide's new Stealth Core and Stealth Cote positioning blocks are designed to leave no lines from artifacts on medical images.
They feature a finish that is antifungal, antibacterial, nonallergenic, flame-retardant, and self-deodorizing, according to the company. They are also easy to clean and available in custom designs, Techno-Aide said.
