Imaging services provider Alliance Imaging turned in record fourth-quarter revenues of $95.1 million, up 10.8% compared with the $85.8 million posted in the same period last year. For the quarter (end-December 31), the Anaheim, CA-based vendor had net income of $4.5 million, compared with a net loss of $4.2 million in the fourth quarter of 2000.
For the year, Alliance had record revenues of $375.2 million, up 8.7% compared with the $345.3 million booked in 2000. The vendor had net income of $10.5 million, compared with a net loss of $2.2 million in 2000. Alliance chairman and CEO Richard Zehner said that its business and the industry continue to have strong fundamentals.
