Magellan Health Services has completed its acquisition of National Imaging Associates (NIA), a privately held radiology benefits-management services provider in Hackensack, NJ.
Magellan said it paid approximately $122 million for the firm, which will become a wholly owned subsidiary. Magellan believes that the NIA business will contribute approximately $1 million in net income and $13 million in segment profit to its results in the remainder of 2006, according to the Avon, CT-based company.
