Imaging center and urgent care operator Urgent Care Centers (UCC) has signed an agreement with medical real-estate development firm the Cirrus Group, which will be purchasing an interest in the Alpharetta, GA-based company.
The companies are partnering to establish immediate care and diagnostic centers in a number of states. UCC will operate these walk-in medical clinics under the name ImMediate Care and Diagnostics.
The first centers will open in Ohio, Texas, Oregon, and Georgia in the first quarter of 2007.
