Focusing on revenue growth helped imaging services provider Alliance Imaging to a 5.8% increase in revenues in 2006, according to the Anaheim, CA-based firm.
For the year (end-December 31), Alliance had revenues of $455.8 million, up from $430.8 million in 2005. The company had net income of $20.1 million, compared with net income of $19.8 million a year ago.
In its fourth quarter, Alliance had revenues of $111.7 million, up 1.3% compared with the $110.2 million booked a year ago. Fourth-quarter net income was $5.1 million, up from $2.5 million in the fourth quarter of 2005.
Chairman and CEO Paul Viviano said that the firm's results were driven by a focus on revenue growth and driving cost efficiencies. In 2007, Alliance will focus on continuing to grow its PET/CT and fixed-site businesses, building one to three radiation oncology centers, and operating its core mobile MRI business as efficiently as possible, Viviano said.
