Breast imaging services provider Solis Women's Health of Austin, TX, has acquired a breast imaging practice in North Carolina.
Solis bought Bertrand Breast and Osteoporosis Center of Greensboro, which was founded by Dr. Margaret Bertrand in 1983. The acquisition spearheads Solis' expansion into northern North Carolina and the areas known as the Piedmont Triad and Piedmont Triangle.
The facility is the only one in the region to offer the breast-specific gamma imaging technology from Dilon Technologies of Newport News, VA, in addition to traditional diagnostic and screening technologies. The site is also planning to implement full-field digital mammography.
