FDA MQSA inspection fees to increase

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will increase mammography facility inspection fees to $2,150, effective October 1.

The hike is more than $400 above the current fee of $1,749 for a single-unit facility.

The fee for each additional unit will increase from $204 to $250, while follow-up inspection fees, in some cases, will rise from $991 to $1,144.
