There is a new player on the imaging services landscape -- Diagnostic Health, a 53-center imaging chain created by HealthSouth's sale of its diagnostic division to the Gores Group of Los Angeles.
The Gores Group announced yesterday that it had completed its purchase of the HealthSouth division, a deal first announced in April. Diagnostic Health's operations span 19 states and Washington, DC, and 80% of its centers offer multimodality services. Diane Munson is president and CEO of the new company.
