RTS acquires Northern California facility

Fort Myers, FL-based oncology treatment center operator Radiation Therapy Services (RTS) has acquired a radiation therapy treatment center in Redding, CA, the company's first acquisition in Northern California.

The freestanding facility treats 30 patients per day and provides intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), and high-dose-rate brachytherapy services.

RTS operates 81 treatment centers across the U.S., clustered into 26 local markets in 16 states, the company said.
