Group purchasing organization (GPO) Broadlane has signed a contract to provide materials management and procurement services to Tenet Healthcare's 52 hospitals.
The seven-year agreement will have the Dallas-based GPO manage Tenet's annual spending of approximately $1.5 billion.
Beginning January 1, 2009, and continuing through early 2010, Tenet, also based in Dallas, will have its approximately 200 materials management and procurement employees join Broadlane's rank-and-file.
