Lower revenues in its fixed and mobile operations sunk results for InSight Health Services in its third quarter of fiscal 2009 (end-March 31).
The Lake Forest, CA, imaging services provider posted revenues of $53.5 million in the third quarter, down 18% from $65.4 million in the same quarter of 2008. The company also posted a net loss in the quarter of $3.4 million, compared with a net loss of $19.4 million in the same quarter a year ago.
For the nine-month period, revenues fell 12% to $175.7 million, compared with $200.2 million in the same period of 2008. The firm's nine-month net loss slipped to $17.4 million, compared with a net loss of $41.4 million in the same period of 2008.
