Improved procedural volume and contributions from acquisitions helped imaging services provider RadNet to a 4% gain in revenue in its second quarter.
For the period (end-June 30), the Los Angeles-based firm had revenue of $131.1 million, up 3.6% over the $126.6 million booked in the second quarter of 2008. The company had a net loss of $336,000, compared with a net loss of $2.1 million a year ago.
In quarterly highlights, overall procedure volume increased 4.5% over volume reported for the same quarter in 2008, RadNet said.
