NIA debuts cardiac management program

Radiology benefits management firm National Imaging Associates (NIA) has added a cardiac management program to its portfolio.

CardiacConnections manages cardiac imaging by connecting patients with the most appropriate cardiac diagnostic exams from the beginning of symptoms to resolution, according to the Avon, CT-based firm.

The program employs a set of evidence- and consensus-supported clinical algorithms and guidelines, and it was developed in consultation with a panel of board-certified cardiologists and cardiac radiologists, NIA said.
