The Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) has appointed Dr. Geoffrey Rose as chairman.
Rose is the director of imaging for the Sanger Heart and Vascular Institute and a clinical professor of medicine at the University of North Carolina. A representative of the American Society of Echocardiography, Rose has served on the board of directors of the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories since 2007, including a term as president.
