Greensboro Radiology of Greensboro, NC, and High Point Radiological Services of High Point, NC, have announced that they will merge.
The two private radiology practices will operate under the Greensboro Radiology name, with 52 board-certified and specialty-trained radiologists and contracts with 12 hospitals and more than 45 outpatient facilities across central North Carolina and Virginia, according to the companies.
Dr. David Ormond, president of High Point Radiological, will join the Greensboro Radiology executive committee. Greensboro Radiology's president, Dr. Eric Mansell, will serve as president of the merged organization, and Worth Saunders will continue as CEO, the firms said.
